The Daf Educational section proposes and organizes work for young people from 8 to 17 years old having already in mind a future professional project
From the knowledge and experience gained with the Daf high Professional Formation project, the EDU section extracts some modules of the professional project by rethinking and optimizing a work program that can offer both an artistic and a didactic completion to the work already done by younger dancers.
This integrated system aims to be an effective link between basic training and a subsequent admission to the Professional Formation Project, Daf Professional 1, aimed at students at least 14 years of age. Completion and enrichment of the program provided by Educational remains open to all children and does not require specific details, besides a clear interest in embarking on a special project enriched by weekly study modules and monthly internships with compulsory attendance.
Daf Educational accompanies young dancers to the discovery of a different way of feeling and using the body, a sensation beyond the simple dance lesson, a mechanism based on the creative interaction between the boys and the teachers. A process that defies inertia and stimulates curiosity, essential at this stage of life, with a simple and ambitious goa…that of building dancers, but before that people who are aware and mindful of their bodies.
