The aspect, which distinguishes the centre from the other educational structures already existing in Italy, is its peculiar educational offer. The program, foreseen by the artistic direction structures a centre, together with the basis school addressed to everybody, who wants to approach the art of dancing as hobby or personal creative expression, where it’s possible to have access to a high professional academic program.
DAF professional school starts from professional project, structured and organized  specifically for children, starting from Pre-Academic Courses (between the ages of 6 to 10 years old) and Academic Professional Courses (between the ages of 11 to 14 years old) in order to create a basis professional education.

High Professional Academic Program
The section dedicated to the educational school, which is called “Professional”, is addressed to dancers formally divided into two sections: the first one is for dancers between the ages of 14 to 18 years old, the second one is for the ones between the ages of 18 to 25 years old.The syllabus proposed to the youngest students foresees classes, which begin in the afternoon with a reduced syllabus, in order to give them the opportunity to end the secondary school. These students will be selected through auditions on the basis of talent, skills and a remarkable aptitude to dance, in view of a probable evolution and transforma-tion for a concrete introduction in future working contexts.
After coming of age and after obtaining the diploma, the students, who will make explicitly the request, could be further selected in order to have access to the high professional education triennium.

For the students between the ages of 18 to 25 years old, D.A.F. direction forsees a triennium of high professional education, it  selects dancers, who have already a technique education, working experiences and a secondary school degree. For this second group, the syllabus foresees a program, which is more intense and articulated concerning both the number of the dance classes and the addiction of the subsidiary subjects.
This course, which lasts three years, is made up of these basis classes: ballet, modern and contemporary, furthermore, the students will have the possibility to complete their education attending choreographic improvisation classes, yoga and body awareness, besides supplementary subjects, such as English, music analysis, rhythm study, acting techniques, anatomy, osteopathy and its application to dance and also the study of the new digital technologies and its application to dance.
Both sections foresee a limited number of participants during the classes. During these three years of the Educational Professional course, the dancers’ preparation is integrated through advanced ballet classes and through workshops and choreographic atelier with important national and international choreographers, who will be hosted periodically in our structure. Only for the students between the ages of 18 to 25 years old, who are interested in furthering their preparation in the Choreographic sector, the school gives them the opportunity to choose, at the beginning of the third year, a distinctive course of study, a specialization, which will partially modify their syllabus, completing the basic program with the addition of specific classes, for the closer examination of the different composition techniques and for the choreographic improvisation. These students have also to present, twice a month compositions, original creations commissioned by the guest choreographers and teachers of the centre, having at their disposal the students of the centre, for the preparation and realization of their project.

At the end of the three years, an external commission made up of the major exponents of the national and international dancing sphere, will be hosted by the artistic organization of the centre, in order to value the preparation of the students of the course and also to select among these last ones the more deserving people to introduce in their projects, productions or steady companies.
