After the interest demonstrated for the Workshop/Performance Project held in January 2-6 2010, D.A.F. - Dance Arts Faculty- International Project for Dance and Performing Arts goes ahead with its series of meetings with some of the most important international choreographers and teachers.


In addiction to classes, the appointment is enriched by the second edition of CHOREOGRAPHY EXCHANGE, international choreography competition opened to artists and dancers of different nationality, in which, beside the competition, there will be 2IMPROVISE, the new section addressed only to improvisation.
The jury, made up of choreographers coming from some of the most important companies and theatres of the international panorama, constitutes D.A.F. exclusive prerogative.
Only if the Jury states there are the necessary conditions, a contract as stagiest by a company linked to one or more invited choreographers will be offered to the dancers and performers near the professional career, beside there is also the possibility to award a scholarship of 4.000,00 € for the professional refinement courses at D.A.F. in Rome.

All D.A.F. appointments are conceived with the aim to create creative meetings, which can go beyond the simple dance class, creating for few days, an exchange and knowledge situation with artists and dancers coming from all over the world.


RULES
1.    The choreographies mustn’t overcome the total duration of 5 minutes
2.    The choreographies, which contain parts of combinations taken from pre-existing works in the international panorama and which last too much, will be disqualified.
3.    The result of the international Jury is unquestionable.
4.    In order to have access to the competition it’s necessary to send the application amount by bank transfer to:

5.    Beside, the selected choreographers have to give within 11.00 day/month/year a cd with the music to the person charged by the organization.
6.    The access to the studio will be allowed only to the ones, who have respected the application procedure and have made the bank transfer.

APPLICATION AMOUNTS

•    70,00€ for soloists
•    100,00 € for duos *
•    150,00 € for groups

•    50,00 € for performers (2IMPROVISE)

*During the competition they will considered as a group



RULES
1.    The access to the choreographic improvisation platform is free. The booking to the mail address danceartsfaculty@libero.it is necessary.
2.    50,00 € is the application amount to send to the above mentioned heading.

The format will be articulated in the following way:
1VS1
The couple selected through draw will perform one after the other one on the basis of the creative verve. At the end of each performance, the Jury will select the one who can continue the competition.

The music, which is an essential element for the development of the competition, will be chosen by the International Jury and it will be heard by the participants just at the moment of the exhibition.


UNIQUE PRIZE FOR EACH CATEGORY

•    400,00 € + 1 month of study by D.A.F. for the soloist
•    800,00 € + 2 weeks of study at D.A.F. for the groups
•    200,00 € + 1 month of study at D.A.F. for the best performer

The second ones classified of each category (excluded the improvisation performance) will have the possibility to repeat their own creation during the choreographic platform organized in the evening starting from 21.00.

D.A.F. direction wants also to communicate that all the choreographies will be shoot. The video of the classified choreographies will be published in D.A.F. web site www.danceartsfaculty.it an in the D.A.F. Facebook page.
